📋 Description

  • The Salesforce / Digital Workplace / M365 Intern role at Government Employees Health Association, Inc.   • Interns will work remotely from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026, gaining real-world exposure to Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and digital workplace tools while supporting initiatives that improve user experience, process efficiency, and data quality across the organization. This role is ideal for technically curious students eager to apply classroom knowledge in a professional, inclusive environment where diversity and innovation are core values.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with the configuration, testing, and ongoing support of Salesforce and Microsoft 365 applications; supporting digital workplace tools such as SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, and related collaboration solutions; helping document system processes, configurations, and user guides for internal stakeholders; assisting with testing new features, enhancements, and platform updates to ensure stability and usability; researching platform capabilities, best practices, and improvement opportunities to inform future optimizations; collaborating with technical teams and business partners to gather requirements and support solution implementation; participating in working sessions, knowledge-sharing activities, and team discussions to build professional communication and teamwork skills; and honing Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting skills through hands-on diagnostic analysis of system issues reported by end users.
  • The Technology team at G.E.H.A is a collaborative, mission-driven group focused on maintaining and enhancing enterprise systems that enable seamless service delivery to members. Interns will work alongside experienced administrators, engineers, and analysts who prioritize knowledge sharing, professional development, and inclusive teamwork—providing a supportive environment to grow technical confidence and professional judgment.
  • Through this internship, the candidate will gain practical experience in enterprise platform administration, develop strong documentation and analytical skills, learn how to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and build confidence in troubleshooting complex systems—positioning them for future full-time roles in IT, Salesforce administration, Microsoft 365 support, or digital workplace specialization within healthcare, government contracting, or enterprise technology sectors.

🎯 Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program
  • Major in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3.0 overall GPA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Interest in enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and digital collaboration tools
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, or SharePoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organization skills
  • Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
