📋 Description

• As an Intern / Working Student in Online Training Localization at Celonis SE, you will play a key role in expanding the global reach of Celonis Academy’s training content by translating and localizing materials into German and Brazilian Portuguese, directly supporting customer and partner success in key international markets.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include translating training courses, hands-on exercises, and exams from English to German; reviewing and post-editing machine-translated content; conducting linguistic and functional quality checks based on learner feedback; maintaining translation memory, glossaries, and language-specific tools; and providing feedback to improve translation workflows.
• You will join the Celonis Academy team, which designs and delivers self-paced and instructor-led training to over 200,000 learners worldwide, predominantly customers and partners, and has been recognized with two 2025 Brandon Hall Gold Awards for excellence in learning.
• In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in localization, instructional design, and cross-cultural adaptation while working with subject matter experts and learning how to measure and improve training impact through qualitative and quantitative feedback—building skills highly valuable in global education, tech, and language services.

🎯 Requirements

• Native-speaker level proficiency in English and German (Brazilian Portuguese is a plus)
• Study in the field of translation, linguistics, communication, or a related discipline
• Ability to work in a structured manner and quickly comprehend new topics and interrelationships
• Ability to put the learner at the center of everything you do
• Experience with authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Rise, Thought Industries) is a plus
• Experience with Translation Management Systems (e.g. Transifex, Smartling, GlobalLink, SDLX) is a plus
• 6+ months of part-time availability from July 2026 onwards
