📋 Description

• As an Internal Control Officer at Bitstack Technologies SAS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s AML/CFT controls are robust, effective, and aligned with regulatory expectations under MiCA and French supervisory frameworks. This role is central to maintaining Bitstack’s compliance as a competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving crypto-fintech landscape.
• You will design and execute permanent controls to verify AML/CFT framework effectiveness, oversee first-line teams’ control activities, document findings, identify gaps, and drive remediation to closure. You will also maintain and update AML/CFT risk mapping covering clients, products, channels, geographies, and key partners like Xpollens and custodians.
• You will work closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance in a small, ambitious team backed by YC and leading VCs, contributing to a culture of speed, precision, and product excellence while shaping organizational practices.
• You will develop expertise in regulatory reporting for AMF, ACPR, and TRACFIN, contribute to risk committees, build KPIs/KRIs, support leadership reporting, and foster compliance culture through training and onboarding initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in AML/CFT compliance, internal control, or risk within a bank, EMI, crypto/fintech, or regulatory body
• Solid hands-on knowledge of AML/CFT framework including risk mapping, permanent controls, and suspicious transaction reporting
• Familiarity with French regulatory landscape (AMF, ACPR, TRACFIN) and MiCA as a strong plus
• Experience operating in a 2nd line of defense role with exposure to LoD1 oversight
• Fluent in French and English
