📋 Description

• • As a People Ops & Recruiting Generalist at Welltheory, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling the operational foundation of the People function during a period of rapid growth, reporting directly to the Head of People.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and launching employee engagement surveys and annual performance review programs, managing compliance through Vanta audits and security setup for new hires, leading IT provisioning automation efforts, planning company-wide All Hands meetings and annual retreats, running full-cycle recruiting for open roles (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management), refining interview plans and scorecards in Ashby, maintaining recruiting pipelines and metrics, partnering with external HR vendors on payroll and benefits issues, building automated onboarding and off-boarding workflows, serving as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, and using Claude to draft people-related communications while updating the internal Notion hub.
• • You will join a passionate, mission-driven team of 50 at Welltheory, a digital health company empowering individuals with autoimmune conditions through personalized care, nutrition guidance, and coaching. The People Team is currently a team of one, placing you at an inflection point where you will help shape HR infrastructure, implement new systems like Ashby ATS, launch performance and compensation reviews, and scale headcount while advancing AI fluency across the organization.
• • In this role, you will gain end-to-end ownership of critical People programs, develop expertise in HR technology stacks (Ashby, Vanta, Gusto, Deel), deepen your full-cycle recruiting capabilities, strengthen your compliance and process automation skills, and grow as a trusted HR partner in a values-aligned, fast-moving environment where initiative and learning are highly valued.
