- • The Senior Administrative Specialist is the senior on-site administrative leader for a professional services office of approximately 30 employees, ensuring smooth daily operations and serving as the primary liaison between the local office and the Firm Administrator.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and training administrative staff, supporting two team members with guidance and feedback, processing tax returns and financial statements, scanning and binding documents, managing office logistics for client meetings, handling confidential matters with discretion, delegating work while maintaining accountability, and providing front-line administrative coverage as needed.
- • Crete Professionals Alliance, operating as Bowers Accountants & Advisors, is a renowned public accounting firm recognized as part of the AICPA’s G400 (Top 300 Firms nationally), known for integrity, professionalism, and expertise in audit, assurance, tax, advisory, and financial planning services.
- • In this role, the individual will develop leadership and supervisory skills in a professional services environment, gain experience in firm-wide policy alignment, enhance organizational and problem-solving abilities, and contribute to cross-training and workload balancing to ensure consistent service delivery to partners and clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–7 years of progressive administrative experience, preferably in a professional services or accounting firm environment
- • College degree preferred or professional equivalent experience
- • Prior experience performing hands-on administrative work while leading or supervising others
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with document management systems is a plus
- • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
