📋 Description
- • Own the end-to-end commercial contracts workflow, including deal structuring, drafting, redlining, and negotiating master agreements, placement agreements, pricing agreements, distributor contracts, and amendments for the Cepheid Commercial Sales team.
- • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Commercial Contracts team, ensuring alignment with overall contracts strategy set by Sales and Business Operations Leadership.
- • Be accountable for key contract KPIs including On Time Delivery, Quality, and Productivity metrics for the team.
- • Serve as the primary advisor and escalation point for Sales, Finance, and other internal departments on contractual requirements, risks, and compliance issues.
- • Prepare, manipulate, and analyze complex reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets using Salesforce.com, CPQ, CLM, ERP databases, and BI Warehouse systems.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Business Operations, and Compliance teams to resolve contractual issues and execute internal projects.
- • Ensure all commercial contracts comply with Legal, Financial, Compliance, and Regulatory standards per company policies and procedures, and coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.
- • Coach, mentor, and develop associates on the Commercial Contracts team to foster professional growth and high-performance standards.
- • Apply process improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5 Whys to enhance contract lifecycle efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
- • Work remotely from any location within the U.S., with full support for a remote work arrangement as part of Cepheid’s flexible workforce model.
- • Support Cepheid’s mission to improve healthcare through fast, accurate molecular diagnostic systems by enabling commercial agreements that drive global access to life-saving technologies.
- • Operate within the Danaher Business System framework to drive continuous improvement and translate ideas into measurable impact across commercial operations.
- • Maintain strict adherence to healthcare industry regulations and contractual obligations, ensuring alignment with federal laws including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and HIPAA.
- • Engage with key stakeholders including GPOs, IDNs, Health Systems, and Distributors to structure and negotiate contracts that support business growth and compliance.
- • Utilize Contracting Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Price Quoting tools to streamline contract creation, approval, and execution processes.
- • Contribute to the development and refinement of contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidelines to standardize commercial contracting practices across the organization.
