- • As an Educational Consultant - Per Diem, you will support educators across California by delivering high-quality professional development and training on Curriculum Associates’ award-winning programs like i-Ready, helping to create equitable classrooms and improve student learning outcomes.
- • Day to day, you will facilitate on-site product training and professional learning courses for teachers and administrators, tailor workshops to participant needs, provide coaching and data-informed instructional support, and submit detailed training notes while maintaining a professional image with school partners.
- • You will join a mission-driven team of over 2,500 lifelong learners at Curriculum Associates, a company dedicated for over 50 years to improving classrooms through innovative, accessible education technology that serves a third of the nation’s K–8 students.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in K–8 ELA and Math standards, strengthen your adult facilitation and coaching skills, gain experience with educational data analysis, and grow professionally through internal feedback, observation, and coaching cycles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development
- • Strong working knowledge of State Standards for ELA and Mathematics for Grades K–8, including content and practice standards
- • Fluency with digital tools for online assessments and comfort discussing and applying data with educators
- • Understanding of adult learning principles and ability to apply them to professional development to meet learning objectives
- • Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- • Proficiency with Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and online meeting tools like Zoom/WebEx
- • Ability to work independently and as part of an educational cohort
