- • As the Compliance & Risk Lead at Inato SAS, you will be the cornerstone of the company’s trust and security posture, ensuring that rapid scaling and geographic expansion remain compliant with global healthcare standards, acting as the official Data Protection Officer (DPO) and the 'face of compliance' to enterprise partners.
- • You will drive geographic expansion by defining and leading the privacy and compliance roadmap for new global markets, navigating localized data privacy laws, managing cross-border data transfers, owning enterprise security questionnaires and contract negotiations, and serving as the internal legal/privacy expert for GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 governance.
- • You will partner closely with engineering and product teams to translate legal obligations into technical requirements, advise on 'Privacy by Design', build customer trust through live security calls, and create compliance collateral to scale external trust while supporting Inato’s mission to increase patient access to clinical trials globally.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global healthcare compliance, lead cross-functional initiatives at a fast-growing Tech for Good company, and make a tangible impact on how clinical research becomes more inclusive and accessible worldwide, backed by recognition as a Best Place to Work and Most Innovative Company.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of professional experience in data privacy, compliance, risk management, or tech law, ideally within a fast-paced B2B SaaS, HealthTech, or Life Sciences environment.
- • Deep expertise in global privacy frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA) and a strong capability to research and interpret localized privacy laws for new country expansion.
- • Proven ability to negotiate the legal, technical, and security nuances of Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and Business Associate Agreements (BAAs).
- • Technical fluency to translate legal/compliance requirements into technical tickets for product and engineering teams, including managing ISO 27001 audits.
- • Strong customer-facing experience, with comfort leading live security and compliance calls with enterprise clients or clinical institutions.
- • A highly hands-on 'builder' mentality, ready to autonomously fill out questionnaires, draft policies, and run training sessions from Day 1.
