We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Internal Full Stack Engineer to become a vital part of our AI Capability Center (AICC).
• In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge full-stack applications that bring our advanced AI and analytics solutions to life. Your work will directly contribute to creating intuitive interfaces, robust backends, and seamless integrations that make complex intelligent systems accessible, scalable, and user-friendly for our internal consulting teams.
• You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including experienced AI Engineers, Solution Architects, and seasoned consulting professionals who possess deep expertise across diverse industries such as higher education, healthcare, and utilities. This collaborative environment is key to delivering secure, production-ready tools that significantly enhance Huron's capacity to deploy, demonstrate, and operationalize AI capabilities.
• This position offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between advanced AI research and practical application, enabling our consultants to leverage the power of AI more effectively in their client engagements.
• Your primary responsibilities will involve the end-to-end development of full-stack applications. This includes architecting and building the foundational components of our AI and analytics platforms, ensuring they are reliable, performant, and scalable.
• You will be responsible for developing and deploying reusable tools and frameworks. These assets will streamline solution delivery across various consulting teams, promoting consistency, efficiency, and best practices in AI implementation.
• On the front-end, you will create intuitive and engaging user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. The focus will be on delivering exceptional user experiences that simplify interaction with complex AI models and data.
• For the back-end, you will develop robust and secure services and APIs, primarily utilizing Python with frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask. This will involve integrating with diverse data sources, internal systems, and external services to support the functionality of our AI solutions.
• A critical aspect of this role is implementing secure authentication mechanisms, efficient data management strategies, and seamless system integrations across major cloud environments, specifically Azure and AWS. Ensuring data integrity and security is paramount.
• You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between the front-end and back-end components, delivering complete, well-tested, and production-ready features that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
• Furthermore, you will apply modern DevOps principles and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. This includes setting up automated deployment pipelines, implementing robust monitoring solutions, and ensuring the ongoing maintainability and operational efficiency of the applications you build.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in front-end development with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Python for backend development (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and secure development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Competitive salary range: $100,000 - $125,000 USD (base), with total estimated compensation including annual incentive up to $147,500 USD.
