Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end employee technology experience for a 100 % remote, high-growth DevOps consultancy. From the moment a new hire signs their offer letter to the day they return their laptop, you are the single thread that keeps Liatrio’s distributed workforce productive, secure, and delighted with their tools.
- • Architect and run a zero-touch device lifecycle: forecast hardware needs, negotiate with vendors, image macOS and Windows machines via MDM, encrypt disks, ship pre-configured laptops worldwide, and reclaim assets when teammates move on. Your inventory spreadsheet is always accurate to the serial number.
- • Design and continuously improve a friction-free onboarding pipeline. One week before a new employee’s start date, accounts in Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and all downstream SaaS tools are provisioned, MFA enforced, and welcome instructions sent. On day one, they open the box, sign in, and start pairing.
- • Be the empathetic, human face of IT support. Answer questions in Slack within minutes, jump on Zoom to share screens, and turn “my audio isn’t working” into “problem solved and documented.” Track every ticket, spot patterns, and automate the repetitive fixes so you can focus on higher-impact work.
- • Administer our SaaS ecosystem like a product you ship to internal customers. Create groups, manage SSO claims, audit dormant licenses, and sunset tools that no longer serve the business. Write runbooks and Terraform-style scripts so any teammate can understand or extend what you’ve built.
- • Serve as the front line of security and compliance. Enforce disk encryption, push OS and application patches via MDM, monitor for anomalous logins, and coordinate quarterly access reviews. When auditors ask for evidence, you already have the screenshots and policy docs ready.
- • Plan and test backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity strategies for critical systems. Simulate a Google Workspace outage or a lost laptop and prove we can restore service in under an hour.
- • Partner with Finance and Legal on software renewals, license true-ups, and hardware warranties. Your cost-per-employee metrics help leadership decide when to scale or consolidate tooling.
- • Champion a culture of self-service. Build internal wikis, record Loom videos, and create Slack bots that let people reset passwords or request software without opening a ticket. Measure success by the downward trend in “how do I…?” pings.
- • Stay curious about emerging technologies—whether it’s a new MDM feature, an open-source device-health script, or a zero-trust networking product—and run small pilots that could give Liatrio a competitive edge.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–7 years of hands-on IT support, systems administration, or internal IT management for remote teams of 50–200 employees
- • Proven expertise with macOS and Windows device management via MDM (Jamf, Kandji, Intune, or similar)
- • Deep working knowledge of Google Workspace administration, SSO (Okta, Azure AD, or OneLogin), and identity lifecycle workflows
- • Comfort writing lightweight automation in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent to streamline onboarding/offboarding
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to translate technical steps into friendly, jargon-free guidance
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote role with flexible hours and a results-oriented culture
- • Competitive salary range of $85,000–$130,000 plus annual performance bonus
- • Annual professional development stipend for certifications, conferences, or courses
- • Home-office setup allowance and quarterly hardware refresh budget
