- • Manage annual renewals for all international benefits programmes including medical, retirement, risk, and wellbeing benefits across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
- • Serve as the primary owner of programme management for OpenAI’s global benefits portfolio, ensuring alignment with company values and local regulatory requirements.
- • Maintain and nurture relationships with global brokers, consultants, insurers, and other benefits vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance.
- • Develop renewal strategies and recommendations using benchmarking data, utilisation metrics, employee feedback, and market trend analysis.
- • Drive implementation of approved plan changes and programme enhancements following renewal cycles, ensuring seamless transitions for employees worldwide.
- • Conduct ongoing reviews of benefits programme competitiveness and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved employee experience.
- • Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and employee satisfaction across all international benefits programmes.
- • Lead quarterly business reviews, governance meetings, and strategic discussions with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- • Maintain comprehensive oversight of benefit contracts, funding arrangements, renewal timelines, and all related programme documentation.
- • Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and People Operations teams to ensure effective delivery and integration of international benefits.
- • Develop and present recommendations for future programme enhancements to Benefits leadership based on data-driven insights and employee needs.
- • Ensure all international benefits programmes remain competitive, scalable, and compliant with evolving local regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
- • Operate independently to manage multiple concurrent priorities across a complex, rapidly scaling global benefits environment.
- • Apply strong analytical skills to interpret claims data, utilisation patterns, and market benchmarks to inform strategic decision-making.
- • Demonstrate exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills when coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in contract management, compliance tracking, and programme documentation.
- • Support the broader Global Benefits team in scaling benefits infrastructure to meet the needs of a growing, globally distributed workforce.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated experience leading complex international benefits renewals and vendor management activities
- • Strong benefits programme or project management experience with ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and stakeholders
- • Direct experience working with brokers, consultants, and insurance carriers across multiple countries
- • Strong analytical skills and experience using utilisation, claims, and benchmarking data to inform benefits recommendations
- • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- • Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
