Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Lead and develop a team of 8 Inventory Ops specialists across flights, ground transportation, and stays.
- • Stay hands-on in the work yourself, diagnosing complex issues, setting technical standards, and modeling the bar you expect from others.
- • Optimise across verticals, identifying where operational support is inconsistent or underdeveloped and building the standards, tooling, and processes that bring all three to the same level of reliability.
- • Set the standard for operational excellence, defining governance frameworks that reduce BAU workload and increase reliability across teams and markets.
- • Use data as a strategic asset to guide the team's priorities, defining success metrics for the team's work and translating insights into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- • Represent the team in cross-functional forums with Product, Engineering, and supplier-facing teams.
- • Champion AI adoption across the team's workflows, coaching specialists on AI-assisted approaches and translating AI capabilities into measurable improvements in efficiency and quality.
🎯 Requirements
- • People leadership experience, with a track record of developing people and improving how a team operates.
- • Solid working knowledge of travel inventory systems, GDS/NDC content, booking flows, supplier APIs, or similar backend systems.
- • 4+ years in operations, travel technology, or supplier management, with experience owning workflows end to end, not just executing steps someone else designed.
- • Strategic thinking, connecting operational work to business outcomes and making trade-offs confidently.
- • Proven ability to design frameworks and standards that scale, not just solving problems, but building systems and coaching a team to prevent them.
- • Communication excellence, tailoring your message for technical and non-technical audiences.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to work with a global company and a diverse customer base.
- • Flexible work arrangements, with the option to work from home or in the office.
- • Access to the latest travel and technology tools and resources.
- • Opportunities for professional growth and development, with training and mentorship programs available.
- • A dynamic and inclusive work environment, with a focus on work-life balance and employee well-being.
