📋 Description
- • This part-time Investment Banking AI Residency role at Aptura Inc. offers a unique opportunity to bridge deep finance expertise with frontier AI development, helping improve how AI models handle nuanced corporate finance judgment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing realistic, deal-relevant prompts to test AI reasoning, comparing human vs. machine judgment in financial analysis, designing frameworks that translate banker decision-making into AI challenges, and constructing expert benchmarks like DCFs, LBOs, and comps to evaluate model outputs.
- • Aptura partners with leading AI labs to integrate real-world finance, healthcare, and legal expertise into AI training, founded by ex-Lazard and Partners Group professionals with operations in London, San Francisco, and now expanding in Bangalore.
- • You will gain rare early exposure to how top AI labs develop models, build transferable skills in AI-finance integration, and position yourself for future buy-side, strategy, or corporate finance roles where AI literacy is increasingly valued.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–4+ years of investment banking or corporate finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier global advisory)
- • Associate-level background with sector-agnostic experience
- • Strong modelling and valuation skills including DCF, LBO, comps, and precedent transactions
- • Sharp written communication and attention to detail
- • Genuine intellectual curiosity about AI applications in finance
