- • This Investment Banking Associate AI Internship role at Aptura Inc. bridges human finance expertise with artificial intelligence development, allowing you to directly influence how Frontier AI models understand and reason about corporate finance transactions.
- • Day to day, you will generate, refine, and evaluate investment banking content—such as pitch decks, market updates, fairness opinions, and transaction analyses—to train AI models in replicating senior IB judgment across M&A, capital markets, and deal execution.
- • Aptura is founded by ex-Lazard and Partners Group professionals, headquartered in London and San Francisco, and specializes in integrating real-world finance expertise into AI model training to improve AI reasoning in high-stakes financial domains.
- • In this role, you will deepen your understanding of AI development processes, contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of AI and corporate finance, and gain rare insight into how leading AI labs build and refine domain-specific reasoning capabilities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Current MBA candidate at IE with 3–7 years of pre-MBA investment banking or capital markets experience at a bulge bracket or elite boutique
- • Analyst or Associate level (pre-MBA) background
- • Solid expertise in at least one area: M&A deal structuring and valuation, equity or debt capital markets execution, sector-specific coverage, or syndicate/book-running
- • Strong financial modeling skills including LBO, 3-statement, DCF, and comfort with complex transaction analysis, fairness opinions, and client-facing materials
- • Ability to articulate investment banking judgment clearly and precisely in writing
