📋 Description

• Investment Banking Associate, AI Residency (Part-time) at Aptura Inc. – a unique opportunity to apply bulge-bracket investment banking expertise to advance how frontier AI models reason about complex financial problems.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include building realistic deal scenarios for AI testing, comparing human vs. machine judgment in valuation and structuring, designing frameworks that translate banker intuition into AI challenges, and constructing expert benchmarks using DCFs, LBOs, comps, and live deal cases.
• Aptura partners with leading AI labs to integrate institutional finance expertise into AI development, combining ex-Lazard and Partners Group backgrounds with cutting-edge AI research in London, San Francisco, and now Bangalore.
• The role offers direct exposure to AI model training in finance, positioning the candidate at the forefront of a growing niche, with a differentiated narrative for future roles in private equity, growth equity, or corporate strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–4+ years of investment banking or corporate finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier global advisory)
• Associate-level experience; sector agnostic
• Strong modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps, precedents)
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Real intellectual curiosity about AI in finance
