📋 Description
- • Investment Banking Associate, AI Residency (Part-time) at Aptura Inc., a company founded by ex-Lazard and Partners Group professionals, headquartered in London and San Francisco, focused on bridging human expertise and AI in finance, healthcare, and law.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building realistic deal-relevant scenarios for AI training, comparing human vs. machine judgment in valuation and transaction structuring, designing frameworks to translate banker intuition into AI challenges, and constructing expert benchmarks using real-world DCFs, LBOs, comps, and live deal cases.
- • The team operates at the intersection of investment banking and AI development, bringing real-world financial expertise to train frontier AI models, with a growing India cohort based in Bangalore.
- • The role offers direct exposure to AI model training processes, the opportunity to be among the first IB professionals in India contributing to AI development in finance, and a differentiated career narrative for future roles in private equity, growth equity, or corporate strategy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–4+ years of investment banking or corporate finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier global advisory)
- • Associate-level experience, sector agnostic
- • Strong modelling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps, precedents)
- • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- • Real intellectual curiosity about AI in finance
