📋 Description

• Investment Banking Associate, AI Residency (Part-time) at Aptura Inc. – Apply your bulge-bracket investment banking expertise to train frontier AI models in finance, bridging human judgment with machine reasoning in valuation, accounting, and transaction structuring.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include building realistic deal scenarios for AI testing, comparing human vs. machine judgment in financial analysis, designing frameworks that translate banker intuition into AI challenges, and constructing expert benchmarks using real-world DCFs, LBOs, comps, and live deal cases.
• Aptura Inc. is a London and San Francisco-headquartered company founded by ex-Lazard and Partners Group professionals, specializing in integrating real-world expertise from finance, healthcare, and law into AI model training to close the gap between human and artificial intelligence.
• This role offers direct exposure to AI model training processes in finance, positioning you among the first IB professionals in India contributing to frontier AI development, with a differentiated narrative for future roles in private equity, growth equity, or corporate strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–4+ years of investment banking or corporate finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier global advisory)
• Associate-level experience; sector agnostic
• Strong modelling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps, precedents)
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Real intellectual curiosity about AI in finance
