- • This part-time Investment Banking Associate AI Residency at Aptura Inc. offers high-performing IB professionals in India the opportunity to shape how frontier AI models reason and make decisions in high-stakes financial contexts, bridging institutional finance expertise with applied AI research.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing realistic, deal-relevant prompts for AI systems, comparing human vs. machine judgment in valuation and diligence, designing frameworks that translate banker reasoning into AI challenges, and constructing expert financial benchmarks such as DCFs, LBOs, comps, and deal cases to evaluate AI performance.
- • Aptura operates at the intersection of institutional finance and frontier AI, founded by professionals from Lazard and Partners Group, and collaborates with leading AI labs in London and San Francisco to advance AI reasoning in financial workflows.
- • Participants will gain hands-on exposure to AI’s impact on investment banking workflows, build a differentiated profile at the IB-AI intersection, and be among the first in India to directly influence how AI models handle corporate finance tasks relevant to buy-side, strategy, and product roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–4+ years of investment banking or corporate finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier middle-market)
- • Associate-level experience with sector-agnostic background
- • Strong modelling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps, precedents) with proven experience on live deals
- • Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail
- • Genuine intellectual curiosity about AI applications in finance
