📋 Description

• Build and maintain production-grade iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI for BJAK’s insurance and financial services platform.
• Design and implement intuitive, responsive mobile interfaces for core workflows including insurance quotations, policy management, claims submission, and payment processing.
• Integrate with RESTful backend APIs to enable real-time data exchange for user transactions, policy updates, and customer service interactions.
• Contribute to mobile features powered by AI-assisted capabilities such as chat experiences, personalized recommendations, and automated workflow triggers.
• Develop UX patterns for real-time interactions including loading states, streaming responses, retry mechanisms, and graceful fallbacks.
• Optimize application performance across metrics including memory usage, CPU efficiency, battery consumption, and app launch times.
• Implement and maintain analytics, crash reporting, and user behavior tracking systems to drive product improvements and reduce incidents.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and AI/ML teams throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Ensure all iOS releases meet high App Store quality standards with rigorous testing, code reviews, and stability checks.
• Continuously improve iOS architecture, engineering standards, and codebase maintainability through modern best practices.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design and implementation to production deployment and post-launch monitoring.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, builds, and deployments for rapid and reliable releases.
• Maintain high code quality with attention to edge cases, scalability, and long-term system reliability.
• Work within a globally distributed engineering team across multiple time zones to deliver consistent, high-quality mobile experiences.
• Contribute to the evolution of BJAK’s mobile tech stack, including adoption of Swift Concurrency, Swift Package Manager, and modern iOS frameworks.
• Translate product requirements into technical solutions that balance user needs with technical constraints and performance goals.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and stability issues in production applications.
• Advocate for user-centric design and engineering discipline in all aspects of mobile development.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of iOS development experience using Swift
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, or modern equivalents)
• Proven experience shipping production iOS applications
• Strong knowledge of async/await, concurrency, and background task handling
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills (memory, CPU, battery)
