- • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive category strategies for IT sub-categories including software, hardware, telecommunications, and IT services aligned with Jabil’s global objectives.
- • Lead the full sourcing process for IT procurement, including market research, supplier identification, RFP development, bid analysis, and contract negotiation with key IT vendors.
- • Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders in IT, finance, and legal departments to align sourcing strategies with business needs and strategic goals.
- • Monitor market trends, technological advancements, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and continuous improvement within the IT category.
- • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers to achieve best value for money while mitigating procurement risks.
- • Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, conducting regular business reviews to assess performance, ensure compliance, and foster strategic partnerships.
- • Identify, implement, and track cost-saving initiatives across IT procurement, reporting on savings achieved and ensuring adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
- • Collaborate with legal counsel to review, finalize, and enforce contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Jabil’s corporate standards.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of Jabil’s IT landscape, business requirements, and strategic objectives to inform category management decisions.
- • Ensure all procurement activities comply with Jabil’s policies, ethical standards, and global governance frameworks.
- • Drive supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives within the IT category to support Jabil’s commitment to environmental responsibility and inclusive business practices.
- • Analyze spend data and market dynamics to forecast trends, optimize budget allocation, and recommend strategic adjustments to procurement plans.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT procurement matters, providing guidance and expertise to cross-functional teams on sourcing best practices and vendor management.
- • Support the integration of digital procurement tools and technologies to enhance efficiency, transparency, and reporting capabilities across the IT category.
- • Ensure all procurement activities are conducted with integrity, transparency, and in alignment with Jabil’s values of sustainability and community impact.
