- • Network Right Inc. is seeking a dynamic and client-focused IT Consultant to join our innovative team in San Francisco. We are dedicated to revolutionizing the IT service industry by providing bespoke, human-centric solutions that empower growing businesses and enhance employee experiences through technology. As an IT Consultant, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional technical support, both in-person and remotely, acting as a vital bridge between complex IT infrastructure and the people who rely on it.
- • This role is perfect for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling a wide array of technical challenges. Your responsibilities will span from hands-on hardware management, such as intricate cable management and deploying numerous workstations, to sophisticated network configurations, including firewall setup and management. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless IT operations for our diverse clientele, who represent a multitude of industries and operational environments.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve providing dedicated support to various client accounts, requiring you to adapt quickly to different business needs and technological landscapes. You will be a key player in IT project deployments, including Mobile Device Management (MDM) rollouts, comprehensive network configurations, and other strategic IT initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring these projects are executed smoothly and effectively, meeting client objectives.
- • You will be responsible for the configuration and ongoing support of both Mac OS and Windows devices, catering to users in both office settings and remote work environments. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring device security and compliance.
- • Beyond direct user support, you will manage critical physical IT assets. This encompasses maintaining accurate inventory records, performing meticulous cable management to ensure organized and efficient workspaces, and contributing to the overall upkeep and functionality of client IT environments. Your attention to detail in managing these physical aspects will directly impact operational efficiency.
- • A core responsibility will be the management and support of identity platforms, such as Okta and Google Workspace. You will ensure secure and efficient access control for applications, manage user accounts, and implement best practices for identity and access management, which are critical for data security and compliance.
- • You will play a vital role in shaping and maintaining IT infrastructure standards. This involves developing and updating IT policies, procedures, and best practices documentation, ensuring alignment with industry compliance requirements and the specific needs of our clients. Your contributions will help establish robust and scalable IT frameworks.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the enhancement of IT operational efficiency by helping to configure automations and tooling, particularly focusing on streamlining on-boarding and off-boarding workflows for new and departing employees. This proactive approach will significantly improve the user experience and reduce administrative overhead.
- • Facilitating IT shipments for both on-boarding and off-boarding processes will be another key duty. This includes preparing, shipping, and tracking equipment to ensure employees have the necessary tools to be productive from day one and that assets are returned efficiently.
- • The role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel to client sites for scheduled maintenance, project work, and emergency support cases. This on-site presence is crucial for building strong client relationships and providing hands-on solutions.
- • Finally, you will be expected to perform a variety of ad-hoc and miscellaneous IT tasks as they arise, demonstrating your adaptability and comprehensive technical skill set. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and forward-thinking IT consultancy.
