📋 Description

• Lead the IT Engineering team through a period of rapid company growth, scaling infrastructure to support expanding headcount, global offices, and increased SaaS adoption.
• Serve as a hands-on technical leader, balancing direct execution with mentoring, project planning, and hiring for the IT Engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with Security and Operations teams to secure endpoints, office networks, and SaaS tools while maximizing employee productivity.
• Manage enterprise-scale IT systems with an automation-first mindset, reducing manual processes through scripting and tooling.
• Implement and maintain identity and access management systems using SAML, SCIM, and OIDC with platforms such as Okta and Google Workspace.
• Oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) for a global fleet of devices using tools like Jamf, Kandji, or Fleet.
• Automate compliance checks, device configurations, and security tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Manage and configure office network infrastructure including Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti equipment, including planning and executing office buildouts.
• Ensure adherence to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance standards across all IT systems and processes.
• Maintain a user-focused approach while enforcing security policies, ensuring seamless experiences for employees across all locations.
• Support global remote workforce by providing secure, reliable, and scalable IT solutions accessible from any location.
• Contribute to corporate security controls, including implementation of Zero Trust networking principles, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform to manage and version-control IT environments.
• Leverage endpoint visibility tools like OSquery and Santa for security monitoring and policy enforcement.
• Drive continuous improvement in IT operations through open-source contributions, internal tooling, and automation innovations.
• Participate in annual company offsites and utilize the monthly co-working stipend if not located near London, New York, or Warsaw.
• Operate in a high-velocity, low-bureaucracy environment where impact matters more than titles, and AI is used across all functions to enhance efficiency.
• Own substantial portions of ElevenLabs’ IT security infrastructure with direct influence on company-wide security posture and scalability.
• Work in a remote-first culture with core hours of 2pm–6pm GMT; flexibility to work from any global location or from company offices in London, New York, or Warsaw.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading or mentoring an IT Engineering or Technical Operations team, including project planning and hiring.
• Strong hands-on background in IT Engineering, Technical Operations, or a DevOps-adjacent role, with an automation-first mindset and experience managing enterprise scale IT systems.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management technologies (SAML, SCIM, OIDC) with tools such as Okta and Google Workspace.
• Expertise with Mobile Device Management tooling (e.g. Jamf, Kandji, Fleet) across a device fleet.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) with a proven track record of automating compliance checks, device configuration, and other IT security tasks.
• Experience managing office network equipment (e.g. Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti), including office buildouts.
