  • • As an IT Instructor, you will become an integral part of a rapidly expanding network of faculty members who are deeply committed to crafting meaningful and transformative learning experiences. Your efforts will directly benefit students from all walks of life, with a particular emphasis on those who have historically faced barriers and been underserved by traditional higher education institutions. This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of aspiring IT professionals.
  • • You will be responsible for teaching a variety of specialized IT courses, including but not limited to: AWS Cloud Foundations & Architecture, AWS Cloud: Well-Architected Frameworks, CompTIA A+ Core 1 and Technical Support, CompTIA A+ Core 2 and Certification Practice, Foundations of Cybersecurity, Data Visualization, Fundamental Networking Concepts, Introduction to Information Technology, IT Capstone, IT Infrastructure & Enterprise Systems, and Spreadsheets & Databases. This breadth of subject matter allows for diverse teaching opportunities and the chance to leverage your specific expertise.
  • • The core of your academic responsibilities will involve teaching 11-week live, online courses. A key element of this role is employing engaging, student-centered instructional strategies that foster active participation and deep understanding. You will be expected to cultivate an inclusive and supportive virtual classroom environment where all students feel empowered to learn and contribute.
  • • Providing timely, constructive, and actionable feedback is paramount. You will be expected to respond to all student inquiries and feedback requests within a 24-hour timeframe, ensuring that students receive the support they need to progress. To further enhance student learning and build a strong sense of community, you will host weekly virtual office hours, offering a dedicated space for deeper engagement and clarification.
  • • Collaboration is a cornerstone of this role. You will work closely with Teaching Assistants (TAs) to co-manage your courses. This includes mentoring the TA on effective grading methodologies, student engagement strategies, and fostering a positive learning dynamic. This partnership ensures comprehensive support for students and efficient course management.
  • • You will be tasked with meticulously evaluating student progress through various assessments, maintaining accurate grade records, and submitting comprehensive mid-quarter and end-of-quarter evaluations. This data is crucial for tracking student development and informing instructional adjustments.
  • • Beyond direct instruction, you will actively collaborate with fellow faculty members and Campus staff. This collaboration is essential for sharing best practices, innovative teaching techniques, and collectively working towards the continuous improvement of our online instructional offerings. Your insights and experiences will contribute to the collective growth of our faculty.
  • • Contributing to co-curricular programming is also an expected component of the role. This may include participating in or helping to organize speaker series, networking events, or other activities designed to enrich the overall student experience and connect them with industry professionals.
  • • Staying current with the latest industry trends and pedagogical advancements relevant to your subject area and online teaching methodologies is critical. This commitment to lifelong learning ensures that your instruction remains relevant, engaging, and at the forefront of IT education.
  • • The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and deeply committed to delivering high-quality online education. A strong passion for equity, access, and supporting students from diverse backgrounds is essential, aligning with Campus LLC's core mission. You should be comfortable with digital tools and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video conferencing software, and possess the digital fluency to effectively incorporate AI-powered educational tools into your teaching practice.
