- • As an IT Project Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful adoption of new IT systems and solutions across our federal government clients. Your expertise will bridge the gap between complex technology and end-user understanding, empowering them to leverage new tools effectively.
- • You will collaborate closely with the Training Team Lead and key project stakeholders to deeply understand the specific training needs and requirements for each IT implementation. This involves active listening, needs analysis, and translating project goals into actionable training strategies.
- • Your responsibilities will include the comprehensive development of a wide array of instructional materials. This encompasses creating detailed user manuals, concise quick reference guides, engaging e-learning modules, and robust instructor-led training curricula designed to cater to diverse learning preferences.
- • You will be instrumental in designing and producing compelling training content, utilizing a variety of industry-standard authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS) to create an effective and accessible learning experience.
- • Conducting thorough needs assessments will be a critical part of your role. You will identify existing skill gaps within user groups and meticulously tailor training programs to address these specific deficiencies, ensuring maximum relevance and impact.
- • The delivery of training will be multifaceted, employing various methods such as traditional classroom sessions, interactive webinars, self-paced e-learning modules, and hands-on workshops to accommodate different learning styles and logistical constraints.
- • You will contribute significantly to the development and ongoing maintenance of a centralized knowledge base or learning management system, providing users with a valuable resource for continuous learning and support.
- • Providing essential post-training support is a key aspect of this role. You will be responsible for addressing user questions, resolving concerns, and offering guidance to reinforce learning and ensure smooth system integration.
- • A crucial element of your contribution will be gathering and analyzing feedback from training sessions. This data will be used to drive continuous improvement, refining training materials and delivery methods for future initiatives.
- • Staying abreast of the latest features, functionalities, and updates of the IT systems you are supporting is paramount. This ensures that all training content remains current, accurate, and relevant to the evolving needs of the users.
- • You will actively participate in train-the-trainer sessions, equipping internal resources with the knowledge and skills to deliver training, thereby expanding our capacity and reach.
- • Assisting in the meticulous coordination of training logistics is also part of the role. This includes scheduling training sessions, preparing venues, and ensuring all necessary equipment is set up and functional for a seamless training experience.
- • You will contribute to the strategic planning of training initiatives, working in partnership with the Training Team Lead to develop comprehensive training strategies and detailed plans that align with project objectives.
- • Documenting all training activities, including attendance records and key outcomes, will be essential for reporting purposes, providing valuable insights into training effectiveness and user engagement.
- • A key skill will be your ability to adapt training approaches to accommodate a wide spectrum of learning styles and varying skill levels among trainees, ensuring that every participant can achieve proficiency.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- • Proven experience in training delivery and/or instructional design, preferably within an IT project implementation context.
- • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and various training methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- • Proficiency in developing training materials using industry-standard authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- • Experience in developing both instructor-led training (ILT) and e-learning content, including multimedia elements.
- • Familiarity with IT systems and software implementation lifecycle processes.
- • Must be a US Citizen, eligible for an active Secret Clearance.
