  • • As an IT Support Specialist I at Lightspeed Commerce Inc., you will be a vital member of the global IT Support team, ensuring employees across Ecwid by Lightspeed have the reliable hardware and software they need to perform their best work, directly enabling productivity and seamless operations for a company powering commerce for over 100 countries.
  • • You will deliver first-level technical support to end-users both virtually and in person, troubleshooting and resolving everyday technology issues while contributing to a supportive, inclusive workplace culture rooted in Lightspeed’s founding values of belonging and equity.

  • • Develop foundational IT support expertise in a dynamic, growing environment, gaining hands-on experience with Apple and Windows ecosystems, ticketing systems, hardware logistics, and user education—building a strong career path in IT operations within a company that invests in employee growth and development.
  • • Provide first-level technical support to end-users virtually or in person, addressing inquiries and incidents with empathy and clarity.
  • • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and common software applications across macOS/iPadOS and Windows environments.
  • • Assist users with password resets, account setups, and basic system configurations to ensure smooth onboarding and daily operations.
  • • Log and track all support requests in the company’s ticketing system, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • • Educate end-users on IT best practices and deliver basic training sessions as needed to promote security awareness and efficient technology use.
  • • Collaborate with Level 2 and 3 IT support teammates and other IT specialists to escalate complex issues appropriately and ensure end-to-end resolution.
  • • Maintain office conferencing rooms by ensuring audiovisual equipment is functional, organized, and ready for use.
  • • Manage the logistics of sending and receiving hardware shipments for remote employees, including tracking, setup coordination, and returns.
  • • Keep accurate, up-to-date records of hardware and software inventory to support asset management and procurement planning.
  • • Assist with routine IT maintenance tasks such as software updates, system backups, and peripheral deployments to keep the technology environment secure and current.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Associate’s degree in IT or equivalent industry certification such as CompTIA A+ or Network+
  • • 1 year of hands-on experience in an IT support or help desk role
  • • Proficiency in troubleshooting both Apple (macOS/iPadOS) and PC (Windows) environments
  • • Fluency in Armenian, professional working proficiency in English, and intermediate proficiency in Russian
  • • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and warm, customer-focused communication style
