đź“‹ Description

  • • As an IT Systems Administrator at Noda AI Inc., you will be the cornerstone of our internal technology infrastructure, ensuring that every member of our team, especially our engineers, has the seamless and secure IT environment they need to innovate and excel. This role is pivotal in supporting Noda AI's mission to transform unmanned systems collaboration and is critical for scaling our Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and maintaining stringent compliance postures.
  • • You will take full ownership of Noda AI's corporate IT foundations. This encompasses the entire lifecycle of endpoint management for both macOS and Windows devices, ensuring they are provisioned, patched, encrypted, and compliant with established security baselines. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT assets.
  • • A significant part of your responsibility will be managing our identity and access management (IAM) systems. This includes the administration of Microsoft 365, meticulously handling account provisioning and deprovisioning, managing group memberships and licensing, and implementing robust role-based access controls (RBAC) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to safeguard our internal systems.
  • • You will be instrumental in designing and executing efficient onboarding and offboarding workflows. This means ensuring that new hires are equipped with fully set-up laptops, have the appropriate account access granted according to the principle of least privilege, and are ready to be productive from day one. Similarly, you will manage the secure and timely offboarding of departing employees.
  • • The role involves administering core IT services that are essential for daily operations. This includes managing our email and collaboration platforms (like Microsoft Teams), overseeing file access systems, ensuring the security and reliability of our Virtual Private Network (VPN) and office Wi-Fi, managing device certificates, and performing basic network administration tasks for our physical office space.
  • • To ensure operational efficiency and audit readiness, you will establish and maintain critical IT support processes. This includes setting up and managing an IT ticketing system for efficient issue resolution, implementing a comprehensive asset tracking system, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all repeatable IT tasks and support functions.
  • • You will collaborate closely with leadership, particularly in the areas of security and compliance. Your efforts will directly support our readiness for government work by ensuring device posture, access controls, and basic incident response capabilities align with regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for collecting and maintaining evidence to support audits.
  • • Vendor management and procurement are key aspects of this role. You will manage relationships with IT hardware and software vendors, overseeing the procurement of essential equipment such as laptops and peripherals, as well as software licenses and critical security tooling like Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
  • • You will play a crucial role in our corporate IT incident response efforts. This involves actively triaging incoming incidents, conducting thorough root-cause analysis, implementing preventative guardrails to minimize future occurrences, and ensuring diligent post-incident follow-through to reinforce system resilience.
  • • This position demands a hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You will be expected to move quickly while simultaneously building repeatable, auditable processes that can scale effectively as the organization grows.
  • • Your work will directly impact Noda AI's ability to secure and manage sensitive government contracts, ensuring that our internal IT infrastructure meets and exceeds the rigorous expectations of our defense and intelligence sector clients and adheres to critical security frameworks like CMMC.
  • • You will be the go-to person for ensuring that our internal IT systems are not just functional, but are secure, compliant, and optimized for the productivity of our highly skilled engineering team, thereby directly contributing to Noda AI's overall success and mission objectives.
