- • Serve as a Java Technical Lead responsible for driving the design, architecture, and implementation of fraud-related technical solutions aligned with the strategic technical roadmap.
- • Collaborate closely with Fraud CIO Technical Leads and Analysts to ensure solution design aligns with enterprise architecture standards and fraud initiative goals.
- • Contribute to the Technical Lead/Analyst Guild by recommending best practices, architectural patterns, and standards for fraud technology systems.
- • Maintain and improve the existing fraud technology landscape by identifying inefficiencies and leading migrations to modernize systems and enhance alignment with architectural recommendations.
- • Lead end-to-end software development throughout the SDLC, from scoping requirements to deployment and post-launch support.
- • Analyze project constraints including risks, timelines, resources, and scope, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- • Review functional and non-functional requirements with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Technical Architects to define and document optimal technical solutions.
- • Support core team working practices by managing cross-team dependencies and ensuring alignment across multiple contributing teams.
- • Assist in production support for Fraud CIO applications, including prioritizing incidents, managing escalations, and ensuring system stability.
- • Coordinate and execute technical testing activities including destructive testing, high availability testing, and performance testing.
- • Identify and remove blockers to keep teams focused on high-value deliverables and maintain momentum on key initiatives.
- • Design and implement RESTful APIs with a strong focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
- • Apply microservice architecture principles and build robust pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
- • Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of services across cloud and on-premises environments.
- • Work with relational and non-relational databases, implementing efficient database architectures and managing distributed transactions.
- • Apply distributed architecture principles to ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability under high load.
- • Package and deploy components using Maven/Gradle/Ant, and implement monitoring and observability practices.
- • Leverage Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence to manage workflows, track progress, and facilitate team collaboration.
- • Lead multiple parallel workstreams while maintaining clarity, prioritization, and delivery discipline across teams.
- • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making.
- • Build new end-to-end technical proposals based on high-level business requirements and translate them into actionable technical plans.
🎯 Requirements
- • Excellent understanding of Java 8+
- • Excellent knowledge of OOP and design patterns, including benefits and limitations
- • Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, Big O notation, and performance analysis
- • Excellent knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot
- • Experience in designing architecture and selecting appropriate tech stacks
- • Solid experience with RESTful API development, microservice architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
- • Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, and Open API
- • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence
- • Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases and distributed transaction management
- • Experience with cloud/on-premises deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability
- • Ability to lead multiple workstreams in parallel
- • Good communication and analytical skills
