- • A Journalist & Content Writer at BJAK Sdn. Bhd. plays a vital role in shaping the company’s voice as a trusted authority in AI, fintech, insurance, and consumer technology across Southeast Asia, reaching millions of readers through accurate, engaging, and insightful storytelling.
- • Day to day, the role involves researching and writing original articles on technology, AI, fintech, insurance, and consumer trends; interviewing internal experts and industry leaders; producing blogs, newsletters, website content, and educational resources; fact-checking for accuracy; monitoring industry trends; and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Design, Legal, and Business teams to support launches and campaigns.
- • BJAK is a fast-moving, flat-organization tech company that built Southeast Asia’s leading insurance platform, serving over 8 million users, and is now developing AI-powered applications to transform daily life management. The team values curiosity, ownership, intellectual honesty, and hands-on contribution to mission-driven work.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in translating complex technical and regulatory topics into accessible narratives, build a strong portfolio of published work across digital platforms, gain exposure to regional and global audiences, and grow your impact as a trusted voice in emerging technology and finance journalism.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–5 years of experience in journalism, editorial writing, content writing, or business reporting
- • Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- • Strong research, interviewing, and fact-checking abilities
- • Excellent command of English
- • A portfolio demonstrating long-form articles, editorial content, interviews, or published work
