• • In this position, you will be an integral part of the Finance team, working closely with our Financial Controller, Nikolett, and our CFO, Marusa. Your primary focus will be on managing the accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. You will play a key role in maintaining clean financial records and supporting broader finance operations as the company continues its exponential growth trajectory.
• • **Accounts Payable Operations:** Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the diligent collection, verification, and processing of all incoming supplier invoices. This involves meticulously renaming, organizing, and uploading these documents into our accounting system, ensuring that all necessary information and complete documentation are readily available for posting by the accountant. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in this aspect of the role, as it forms the foundation of our financial reporting.
• • **Bank and Payment Activities:** You will be responsible for monitoring automated bank feeds, promptly identifying any missing receipts or unmatched transactions. A significant part of this role involves proactive follow-up with internal teams to secure any outstanding invoices or supporting documentation required for accurate processing. Furthermore, you will prepare comprehensive payment batches for review and approval by the CFO, ensuring that all payments are authorized and executed efficiently.
• • **Reconciliation and Controls:** A critical function of this role is to ensure that all accounts payable balances are accurately reconciled within the accounting system. You will be expected to highlight any discrepancies identified during this process and diligently follow up to ensure their prompt resolution. Additionally, you will provide essential support with month-end closing procedures, specifically focusing on accounts payable checks and reconciliations, contributing to the overall financial close process.
