• • We are seeking a highly disciplined and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and passionate team of 75 individuals. This fully remote role, based in Azerbaijan, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, category-defining company.
• • In this critical role, you will be instrumental in managing the day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You will work closely with our Financial Controller, Nikolett, and our CFO, Marusa, playing a key part in maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
• • Your primary responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle of supplier invoice management. This includes the meticulous collection, verification, and processing of all incoming supplier invoices. You will be responsible for ensuring that each invoice is correctly named, organized, and uploaded into our accounting system, guaranteeing complete and accurate documentation for posting by the accountant.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve managing bank and payment activities. You will diligently monitor automated bank feeds, proactively identifying any missing receipts or unmatched items that require attention. Your role will necessitate following up with internal teams to obtain any outstanding invoices or supporting documentation, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted payment process.
• • You will play a crucial role in preparing payment batches, which will then be submitted to the CFO for thorough review and final approval. This process requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure all payments are authorized and correctly processed.
• • Furthermore, you will be deeply involved in reconciliation and controls. This includes ensuring that all accounts payable balances are accurately reconciled within the accounting system, maintaining the integrity of our financial data. You will be expected to highlight any discrepancies that arise and actively follow up to ensure their prompt resolution.
• • Your contributions will extend to assisting with essential month-end AP checks, providing critical support to the finance team as they close out each financial period. This involves performing routine checks and balances to confirm the accuracy of our accounts payable records.
• • Beyond day-to-day operations, you will support bank and compliance activities. You will serve as an operational point of contact for any bank compliance or documentation requests, ensuring that EverAI meets all necessary regulatory and banking requirements. This includes supporting timely responses to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries, as well as other bank-related inquiries, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining robust financial compliance.
