We are now seeking a highly disciplined and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist to join our growing Finance team and play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our financial operations.
• • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end process of supplier invoices, ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and on time. You will work closely with our Financial Controller, Nikolett, and our CFO, Marusa, to maintain clean and organized financial records. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of accounts payable and finance operations tasks, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of our global financial activities. • • Your core responsibilities will include meticulous management of accounts payable operations. This involves the collection, verification, and processing of all incoming supplier invoices, ensuring that each document meets our standards for accuracy and completeness. You will be responsible for renaming, organizing, and uploading these files into our accounting system, ensuring they are readily accessible and properly categorized. A key part of this role is ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and readily available for the accountant to post entries accurately, minimizing any potential delays or errors.
• • Furthermore, you will be actively involved in bank and payment activities. This includes diligently monitoring our automated bank feeds, promptly identifying any missing receipts or unmatched items that require attention. You will proactively follow up with internal teams to obtain any outstanding invoices or supporting documentation needed to reconcile transactions. A significant part of your contribution will be preparing accurate payment batches for the CFO's thorough review and subsequent approval, ensuring that all outgoing payments are authorized and correctly processed.
• • Reconciliation and controls are also central to this position. You will be tasked with ensuring that all accounts payable balances are reconciled correctly within our accounting system, maintaining the accuracy of our financial statements. You will be expected to highlight any discrepancies identified during reconciliation processes and diligently follow up to ensure they are resolved promptly. Additionally, you will provide essential assistance with month-end AP checks, contributing to the timely and accurate closing of our financial periods.
• • In support of our banking and compliance efforts, you will serve as a key operational contact for any bank compliance or documentation requests. This involves assisting in the timely and accurate response to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries, as well as other bank-related requests, ensuring we maintain strong relationships with our financial institutions and adhere to all regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and organizational prowess will be vital in supporting these critical functions.
