- • We are seeking a highly disciplined and meticulously detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist to become an integral part of our dynamic Finance team. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our rapidly scaling organization. You will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of supplier invoices, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all payments, performing essential account reconciliations, and actively contributing to the upkeep of pristine finance operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in direct collaboration with our experienced Financial Controller, Nikolett, and our accomplished CFO, Marusa, gaining invaluable insights into the financial workings of a leading AI company.
- • Your primary responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of Accounts Payable operations. This includes the diligent collection, thorough verification, and precise processing of all incoming supplier invoices. You will be responsible for systematically renaming, organizing, and uploading these crucial financial documents into our accounting system, ensuring that each entry is complete and accurately documented for posting by the accountant. This meticulous approach is vital for maintaining accurate financial records and facilitating smooth audits.
- • In the realm of Bank & Payment Activities, you will play a key role in monitoring our automated bank feeds, proactively identifying any missing receipts or unmatched transaction items. A significant part of your role will involve following up with internal teams to secure any outstanding invoices or necessary supporting documentation, ensuring that all transactions are properly substantiated. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in preparing payment batches for review and approval by the CFO, ensuring that all outgoing payments are processed efficiently and securely.
- • Your contribution to Reconciliation & Controls will be paramount. You will be tasked with ensuring that all accounts payable balances are meticulously reconciled within the system, identifying and highlighting any discrepancies that arise. You will be responsible for following up on these discrepancies to ensure their prompt and accurate resolution. Additionally, you will provide essential assistance with month-end AP checks, contributing to the overall financial closing process and ensuring accuracy.
- • As a key point of contact for Bank & Compliance Support, you will serve as the operational liaison for any bank compliance requirements or documentation requests. This includes supporting timely and accurate responses to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries, as well as other bank-related inquiries, ensuring our operations remain compliant with all regulatory standards.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2–4+ years’ experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or a closely related field.
- • Strong organizational skills and an extremely detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- • Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and online banking portals/payment tools.
- • Experience operating effectively in fast-growing/startup environments and comfortable with multi-entity or multi-currency operations.
- • Perfectly fluent in English, with strong communication and collaborative skills.
