• • As a Junior Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dynamic Finance team. This position is integral to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our rapidly growing company. You will be responsible for the meticulous management of supplier invoices, ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and on time. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our financial operations, working in close collaboration with our Financial Controller, Nikolett, and our CFO, Marusa.
• • Your primary responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process. This includes the collection, verification, and accurate processing of all incoming supplier invoices. You will be tasked with renaming, organizing, and systematically uploading these files into our accounting system, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and readily available for posting by the accountant. This meticulous approach to document management is vital for maintaining accurate financial records.
• • In addition to invoice processing, you will be actively involved in bank and payment activities. This involves closely monitoring automated bank feeds to identify any missing receipts or unmatched transactions. A key part of this role will be proactively following up with internal teams to secure any outstanding invoices or supporting documentation required for reconciliation. Furthermore, you will prepare comprehensive payment batches for the CFO's review and approval, ensuring all payment runs are accurate and timely.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve reconciliation and controls. You will be responsible for ensuring that accounts payable balances are accurately reconciled within the accounting system. This requires a keen eye for detail to highlight any discrepancies, followed by diligent follow-up to ensure their prompt resolution. You will also assist with essential month-end AP checks, contributing to the integrity of our financial reporting.
• • You will also serve as an operational point of contact for bank compliance and documentation requests. This involves supporting timely and accurate responses to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries, as well as other bank-related inquiries. Your ability to manage these requests efficiently will be critical for maintaining strong relationships with our financial institutions.
• • The ideal candidate will possess 2-4+ years of experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or a closely related field. Strong organizational skills and an extremely detail-oriented approach are paramount for success in this role. Experience with various accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP is highly desirable. You should be comfortable navigating online banking portals and payment tools, and ideally have some exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency operations, reflecting the global nature of our business.
