• • As a Junior Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dynamic Finance team. This position requires a disciplined and meticulous individual who can manage the intricacies of supplier invoices, ensure punctual payments, perform essential account reconciliations, and contribute to the overall cleanliness and efficiency of our financial operations.
• • You will work in direct collaboration with our Financial Controller, Nikolett, and our CFO, Marusa, gaining invaluable experience within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• • ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OPERATIONS:
• • You will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of incoming supplier invoices, from initial collection and verification to final processing.
• • This includes meticulously renaming, organizing, and uploading all relevant invoice files into our accounting system, ensuring they are readily accessible and properly categorized.
• • A key part of your role will be to ensure that all invoices are accompanied by complete and accurate supporting documentation, meeting the requirements for posting by the accountant.
• • BANK & PAYMENT ACTIVITIES:
• • You will actively monitor our automated bank feeds, promptly identifying any missing receipts or unmatched transactions that require attention.
• • You will proactively follow up with internal teams and external vendors to obtain any missing invoices or essential supporting documentation needed for accurate record-keeping.
• • You will prepare organized payment batches for review and approval by the CFO, ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and on time.
• • RECONCILIATION & CONTROLS:
• • You will be instrumental in ensuring that all accounts payable balances are accurately reconciled within the accounting system, maintaining the integrity of our financial data.
• • You will diligently highlight any discrepancies identified during reconciliation processes and take ownership of following up to ensure their timely resolution.
• • You will provide essential assistance with month-end closing procedures, specifically focusing on accounts payable checks and reconciliations as required by the finance team.
• • BANK & COMPLIANCE SUPPORT:
• • You will serve as a key operational point of contact for any bank compliance-related inquiries or documentation requests, liaising between the finance team and our banking partners.
• • You will actively support the timely and accurate preparation of responses to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries, as well as other bank-related documentation requests.
• • This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multi-entity and multi-currency operations, providing a broad understanding of international finance.
