As one of the world's fastest-growing AI companies, we are seeking a highly organized and meticulous Junior Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist to join our fully remote team based in Montenegro. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our rapidly scaling business. You will be an integral part of the Finance team, working closely with our Financial Controller and CFO to manage the accounts payable process, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support broader finance operations.
- • In this position, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of supplier invoices. This includes diligently collecting, verifying, and accurately entering all incoming invoices into our accounting system. A key part of your role will be ensuring that each invoice is properly documented, categorized, and organized, with all necessary supporting information attached, before it is posted by the accountant. Your attention to detail will be paramount in maintaining the accuracy and completeness of our financial records, preventing errors, and ensuring smooth financial operations.
- • You will play a vital role in our bank and payment activities. This involves actively monitoring automated bank feeds to identify any discrepancies, missing receipts, or unmatched transactions. Proactive follow-up with internal teams will be essential to obtain any outstanding invoices or supporting documentation required for reconciliation. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing organized payment batches for review and approval by the CFO, ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and on time, thereby maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve reconciliation and controls. You will be tasked with ensuring that accounts payable balances are consistently reconciled within the accounting system, highlighting any discrepancies that arise and diligently following up to ensure their prompt resolution. Your support will also be required for essential month-end closing procedures, specifically focusing on accounts payable checks and reconciliations, contributing to the timely and accurate closure of monthly financial statements.
- • Beyond day-to-day operations, you will act as a key operational contact for bank compliance and documentation requests. This includes supporting timely responses to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries, as well as other bank-related documentation requirements. Your ability to gather and present information accurately will be critical in ensuring our compliance with financial regulations and maintaining smooth relationships with our banking partners.

- • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and online banking portals.

- • Perfect fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
