- • As a Junior Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lean and efficient Finance team. This position is ideal for a highly organized and meticulous individual eager to contribute to the smooth financial operations of a rapidly scaling tech company. You will work closely with our Financial Controller and CFO, gaining invaluable experience in a high-growth environment.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end accounts payable process. This includes the diligent collection, verification, and processing of all incoming supplier invoices. You will be tasked with ensuring each invoice is accurately recorded, properly categorized, and uploaded into our accounting system, adhering to established naming conventions and organizational standards. A key aspect of this role is ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and readily available for the accountant to post transactions accurately, maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
- • You will also be instrumental in managing our bank and payment activities. This involves closely monitoring automated bank feeds to identify any discrepancies, missing receipts, or unmatched items. Proactive follow-up with internal teams will be essential to obtain any outstanding invoices or supporting documentation required for accurate financial recording. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing payment batches for review and approval by the CFO, ensuring that all payments are processed in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing any potential disruptions to our suppliers and operations.
- • A significant part of your role will involve reconciliation and controls. You will ensure that accounts payable balances are accurately reconciled within the accounting system, performing regular checks to identify and highlight any discrepancies. Your ability to investigate and follow up on these discrepancies until they are resolved will be critical in maintaining clean and accurate financial statements. You will also assist with essential month-end AP checks, contributing to the timely closure of monthly financial periods.
- • In addition to core AP functions, you will act as an operational point of contact for bank compliance and documentation requests. This will involve supporting timely responses to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries, as well as other bank-related inquiries. Your diligence in handling these requests will be vital for maintaining strong relationships with our banking partners and ensuring regulatory compliance.

- • 2–4+ years of experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or a closely related field.
- • Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and online banking portals.
- • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- • Perfect fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
