• • As a Junior Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes. This is a fully remote position based in Romania, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking company from anywhere in the world. You will work closely with our Financial Controller, Nikolett, and our CFO, Maruša, gaining invaluable experience in a high-growth startup environment.
• • Your primary responsibility will be the meticulous management of supplier invoices, from collection and verification to processing and ensuring timely payments. This involves a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to maintain the integrity of our financial records. You will be instrumental in organizing and uploading invoice files into our accounting system, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and readily available for posting by the accountant. This foundational task is critical for accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• • A significant part of your role will involve monitoring our automated bank feeds. You will be responsible for identifying any missing receipts or unmatched items, proactively investigating discrepancies, and following up with internal teams to obtain the required supporting documentation. This diligent oversight helps prevent errors and ensures that our financial data is always up-to-date and accurate.
• • You will also be involved in preparing payment batches for review and approval by the CFO. This requires careful planning and execution to ensure that all payments are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and timelines. Your contribution here directly impacts our relationships with suppliers and the overall financial health of the company.
• • Maintaining clean finance operations extends to ensuring that accounts payable balances are reconciled correctly within our accounting system. You will be tasked with highlighting any discrepancies identified during reconciliation and diligently following up to ensure their prompt resolution. This proactive approach to reconciliation is vital for maintaining accurate financial statements and supporting audit readiness.
• • Furthermore, you will assist with essential month-end AP checks, contributing to the closing process and ensuring all financial obligations are accounted for. This involves a systematic review of AP activities to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• • In addition to core AP functions, you will act as an operational contact for bank compliance and documentation requests. This may involve responding to Know Your Customer (KYC) or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries, as well as other bank-related requests, ensuring EverAI meets all regulatory and banking requirements. Your role in supporting these compliance activities is essential for maintaining strong banking relationships and operational continuity.
