This role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our rapidly scaling business. You will work closely with our Financial Controller and CFO, playing a key part in managing our financial workflows and ensuring smooth operations.
- • In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the day-to-day accounts payable processes. This involves the diligent collection, verification, and processing of all incoming supplier invoices. You will be responsible for ensuring that each invoice is accurately recorded, properly categorized, and uploaded into our accounting system. A critical aspect of this responsibility is ensuring that all necessary supporting documentation is complete and readily available for the accounting team, facilitating accurate and timely financial reporting.
- • A significant part of your duties will involve managing bank feeds and payment activities. You will actively monitor automated bank feeds, identifying any discrepancies, missing receipts, or unmatched transactions. Proactive follow-up with internal teams will be essential to obtain any outstanding invoices or supporting documentation required for reconciliation. You will also play a key role in preparing payment batches, ensuring all details are accurate before they are submitted to the CFO for review and final approval. This requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- • The role also encompasses vital reconciliation and control functions. You will be responsible for ensuring that accounts payable balances are accurately reconciled within the accounting system on a regular basis. Any discrepancies identified will need to be highlighted promptly and followed up on for resolution. Your support will also be required for month-end closing procedures, specifically focusing on accounts payable checks and reconciliations, contributing to the overall accuracy of our financial statements.
- • Furthermore, you will act as a key operational contact for bank compliance and documentation requests. This involves liaising with banking institutions to provide necessary information and support timely responses to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries. Your ability to manage these requests efficiently will be vital in maintaining strong relationships with our financial partners and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2–4+ years of experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or a closely related field.
- • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and online banking portals.
- • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- • Perfect fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- • Experience operating in fast-growing startup environments and comfortable with multi-entity/multi-currency operations.
