- • As a Junior Accounts Payable & Finance Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance team by meticulously managing supplier invoices, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments, and contributing to the overall integrity of our financial operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our Financial Controller, Nikolett, and our CFO, Marusa, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to operate efficiently and maintain strong financial controls as we continue our exponential growth trajectory.
- • Your core responsibilities will encompass the entire Accounts Payable lifecycle. This includes the diligent collection, verification, and processing of all incoming supplier invoices. You will be responsible for renaming, organizing, and accurately uploading these documents into our accounting system, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and readily available for posting by the accountant. This meticulous attention to detail is paramount to maintaining clean financial records and facilitating smooth accounting processes.
- • In the realm of bank and payment activities, you will actively monitor automated bank feeds, promptly identifying any missing receipts or unmatched transactions. A key part of your role will involve proactive follow-up with internal teams to secure any outstanding invoices or supporting documentation required for accurate record-keeping. You will also be instrumental in preparing payment batches for review and approval by the CFO, ensuring that all outgoing payments are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute significantly to our reconciliation and control processes. This involves ensuring that all accounts payable balances are accurately reconciled within the system, highlighting any discrepancies that arise and diligently following up to ensure their prompt resolution. Your support will be essential during month-end closing procedures, where you will assist with required AP checks to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
- • Beyond day-to-day operations, you will serve as a key operational contact for bank compliance and documentation requests. This includes supporting timely responses to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries, as well as other bank-related inquiries. Your ability to gather and present information accurately will be vital in maintaining our banking relationships and ensuring regulatory adherence.
- • We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in accounts payable and finance operations, ideally with 2-4 years of relevant experience. Exceptional organizational skills and an unwavering commitment to detail are non-negotiable. Proficiency with accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP is highly desirable, as is comfort and experience working with online banking portals and various payment tools. Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency operations would be a significant advantage, reflecting the global nature of our business.
