📋 Description

• Junior Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant at Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc. – a remote role supporting a fast-growing photography-focused startup by creating visual content and assisting with marketing, influencer outreach, and administrative tasks to drive brand growth and client engagement.
• This role is ideal for an early-career creative professional who thrives in a dynamic, startup environment and wants to build a long-term remote career while contributing to meaningful projects across design, outreach, and operations.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include creating engaging graphic designs for social media, marketing campaigns, presentations, and digital assets using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.
• Supporting visual content needs for photography-related projects and promotions, ensuring brand consistency and creative quality across all client-facing materials.
• Assisting with influencer outreach by researching creators, drafting and sending outreach messages, tracking responses, and maintaining organized contact lists and follow-up schedules.
• Handling ad hoc virtual assistant and administrative tasks such as scheduling, file organization, basic research, and workflow coordination to keep operations running smoothly.
• Supporting basic sales or partnership activities, including preparing presentation materials, assisting with follow-ups, and helping coordinate client or collaborator communications.
• Collaborating directly with the founder and small team to adapt to evolving business needs, bring creative ideas, and contribute to a positive, energetic startup culture.
• Learning and growing through hands-on experience in graphic design, influencer marketing, remote collaboration, and small business operations while building a portfolio of real-world work.
• Developing proficiency in essential remote work tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Asana or Trello, and social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
• Gaining exposure to startup dynamics, cross-functional workflows, and entrepreneurial problem-solving in a supportive, innovation-driven environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience or strong practical experience in graphic design or visual content creation
• Proficiency with basic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable handling multiple small tasks in a fast-moving startup environment
• Clear written communication skills and confidence reaching out to influencers or partners
• Prior remote work experience is required, with fluency in remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar; candidates must have experience working with US- or UK-based companies
