- • The Junior/Mid AI Legal Specialist will support EverAI’s compliance team by managing legal and regulatory workflows for the company’s AI companionship platform, ensuring adherence to global data protection, AI governance, and consumer rights laws.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts (NDAs, licenses, DPAs, TIAs), maintaining compliance documentation, conducting product feature reviews for legal compliance, handling standard IP issues like DMCA notices, and tracking evolving legal developments in AI and e-commerce regulation.
- • EverAI is a fast-growing, fully remote AI company with 50 million users, building the world’s largest AI companionship platform governed by its proprietary ethical AI moderation system, EverGuard. The company is backed by a founding team with proven success in scaling tech ventures to IPO and exit.
- • In this role, you will develop specialized expertise at the intersection of AI, data protection, and tech regulation, work closely with an experienced Ethics & Compliance Officer, and contribute to shaping responsible AI innovation at a global scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Legal education (e.g., Master of Laws, Juris Doctor, or recognized legal certification)
- • 2–6 years of experience as legal counsel or in a similar role, with at least 2 years focused on contracts and data protection law (including experience with DPAs and TIAs)
- • Ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain English and strong communication skills in English
- • Comfort reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated content, including NSFW material
