- • The Junior/Mid AI Legal Specialist will support EverAI’s compliance team by managing legal and regulatory workflows for the company’s AI companionship platform, ensuring adherence to global data protection, consumer rights, and AI governance laws.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing GDPR-related documentation (DPAs, TIAs), reviewing contracts (NDAs, licenses), updating legal terms (TOS, Privacy Notices), conducting product feature reviews for compliance, tracking regulatory developments, and handling standard IP issues such as DMCA notices.
- • EverAI is a fast-growing, fully remote AI company with 50 million users, building the world’s largest AI companionship platform governed by its proprietary ethics system, EverGuard. The company is backed by a founding team with proven success in scaling tech ventures to IPO and exit.
- • In this role, you will develop specialized expertise at the intersection of AI, e-commerce, and data protection law, work closely with an experienced Ethics & Compliance Officer, and contribute to shaping responsible AI innovation at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Legal education (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, or recognized legal certification)
- • 2–6 years of experience as legal counsel or in a similar role, with at least 2 years focused on contracts and data protection law (including experience with DPAs and TIAs)
- • Ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain English and strong communication skills in English
- • Comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated content, including NSFW material
