• • As a Junior Quality Control Associate (Diamonds) at Nivoda Limited, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the exceptional quality standards that define our position as the leading global B2B jewelry marketplace. This is a critical in-office, full-time, permanent position based in Amsterdam, where you will be instrumental in ensuring every diamond, melee parcel, gemstone, and piece of jewelry processed through our Netherlands hub meets our stringent criteria before reaching our valued customers.
• • Your primary responsibility will be the meticulous and timely quality control (QC) of all incoming and outgoing products. This includes certified diamonds, uncertified diamonds, melee parcels (small diamonds), and a diverse range of gemstones and finished jewelry. The goal is to achieve 100% same-day QC for all orders received, a testament to our commitment to speed and accuracy in a fast-paced industry.
• • You will be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of our QC process, performing detailed inspections and assessments. This hands-on role requires a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of diamond and gemstone characteristics, including cut, color, clarity, and carat weight, as well as an understanding of jewelry construction and finishing.
• • A significant focus of this role will be on the quality control of melee diamonds and finished jewelry. You will develop and refine your expertise in grading and assessing these items, ensuring consistency and adherence to our quality benchmarks. This will involve working with specialized equipment and established grading methodologies.
• • You will actively participate in both internal and external quality audits. These audits are crucial for evaluating product performance, identifying potential deviations from standards, and pinpointing areas where our processes or supplier performance can be enhanced.
