📋 Description

• As a Junior Tax Lawyer on Skelar AS's Tax&Structuring team, you will provide essential legal support in international taxation, contributing to the success of venture-backed consumer businesses across global markets.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting tax-related research on jurisdictions and structures, drafting internal memos and consultations, analyzing key legislation initiatives in international taxation, and supporting team projects with legal expertise.
• You will join Skelar AS, a venture builder that creates and scales consumer businesses in EdTech, Mental Health, Petcare, FashionTech, and more, with a mission to build impactful companies that reach millions of users worldwide.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in international tax law, gain hands-on experience with double tax treaties and withholding tax, and grow professionally within a supportive environment that prioritizes learning, innovation, and meaningful impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in law (with at least 1 year in tax)
• A degree in law from a Ukrainian or foreign university
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Experience in international taxation
• Solid understanding of withholding tax concepts
• Ability to correctly interpret double tax treaties (DTTs)
• Working knowledge of indirect taxation fundamentals
• Experience drafting multi-jurisdictional legal documents
