- • Edit long-form YouTube videos and video podcasts, including multi-camera edits where applicable
- • Create short-form clips (Shorts, Reels, TikToks) from podcast and YouTube content
- • Apply clean cuts, pacing, basic motion graphics, captions, and sound balancing optimized for YouTube audiences
- • Use AI-powered tools such as Descript, Runway, Opus Clip, auto-captioning systems, and AI audio cleanup tools to enhance editing speed, quality, and creativity
- • Collaborate with content creators, producers, and marketers to implement feedback and revisions efficiently
- • Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines, platform-specific best practices, and publishing requirements
- • Organize and manage project files and digital assets to support a seamless remote workflow
- • Maintain consistent output across multiple platforms while adhering to tight deadlines and publishing schedules
- • Work within US time zones (EST–PST) to coordinate with remote teams and stakeholders
- • Adapt editing style to match the tone and pacing of YouTube and podcast content aimed at engaged digital audiences
- • Utilize professional video editing platforms including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve for all production tasks
- • Employ audio editing tools such as Adobe Audition or Descript for podcast audio cleanup and sound balancing
- • Stay current with emerging AI tools and trends in video production and content optimization
- • Communicate clearly and proactively in a fully remote environment using Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or Notion
- • Deliver polished, platform-optimized video content on a consistent basis for global audiences
- • Work exclusively with US or UK-based companies, requiring prior remote collaboration experience in similar settings
- • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and creative consistency
- • Translate raw recordings into compelling, audience-retentive video narratives with strategic pacing and visual flow
- • Follow brand-specific visual and audio standards across all delivered content
- • Participate in regular feedback loops and revision cycles to refine content for maximum engagement
🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ year of hands-on experience editing YouTube videos and/or video podcasts
- • Demonstrated experience using modern AI tools in video editing workflows (e.g., AI-assisted editing, auto-captioning, audio cleanup, clip generation)
- • Proficiency with at least one professional video editing platform (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- • Non-negotiable: Prior experience working remotely with US or UK-based companies; fluency in Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana (or similar)
- • Strong understanding of YouTube and podcast content styles, pacing, and viewer engagement
- • Ability to take feedback, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly in a remote environment
