- • Lead strategic and transactional engagement with key BPA/Insurer Services accounts throughout the entire contract lifecycle to foster strong client partnerships and enhance client satisfaction and experience.
- • Partner with clients to develop and regularly review monthly account plans that align with their short- and long-term strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and service improvement.
- • Oversee and manage all client service delivery, ensuring contractual obligations and expectations are met with precision and confidentiality.
- • Lead client meetings, prepare and distribute meeting papers in agreed formats, and ensure follow-through on all decisions and actions to completion.
- • Manage Change Control Notes and Letters of Variation for work performed outside the scope of existing contracts, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- • Approve and oversee invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with contracted services and pricing models.
- • Lead rebids and contract extensions in accordance with Capita’s governance processes, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
- • Chair and lead Contract Review Committees and Product Review Committees for assigned clients and new business opportunities.
- • Actively manage and resolve commercial issues and claims on behalf of clients, protecting Capita’s interests while maintaining client trust.
- • Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the client portfolio by aligning CPS capabilities or wider Capita business offerings, engaging subject matter experts as needed.
- • Review and recommend improvements to existing systems, processes, and controls to enhance service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- • Support Capita Pensions Solutions’ digital roadmap by communicating continuous improvement propositions to clients and securing their buy-in.
- • Act as the primary point of accountability for client operations, communicating operational changes and ensuring seamless service transitions.
- • Manage one direct report, providing guidance, development, and performance oversight.
- • Contribute to departmental and business objectives by delivering against individual targets and promoting collaboration across teams.
- • Maintain deep, trusted relationships with clients by understanding their strategic priorities and operational challenges.
- • Apply commercial pricing model expertise to ensure revenue growth and sustain CPS profitability targets.
- • Promote a culture of learning, excellence, and change through a growth mindset, encouraging continuous improvement within the team and with clients.
- • Share knowledge and expertise with team members to strengthen overall team capability and performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experienced Account Director with background in financial services, outsourcing, or other regulated sector
- • Experience working with BPA/Insurer services is desirable
- • Understanding of Pensions Operations
- • Proven experience managing a portfolio of key accounts
- • Solid understanding of commercial pricing models to drive revenue and profitability
- • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships
