- • Lead and support a team of Key Account Managers to manage and grow Alan’s portfolio of corporate clients across Spain, ensuring high client retention and satisfaction.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client companies, adopting a customer-centric approach to help clients achieve their health and benefits goals through Alan’s integrated insurance and prevention platform.
- • Proactively identify signs of client dissatisfaction and implement timely, effective solutions to preserve loyalty and drive long-term engagement.
- • Oversee the successful onboarding of new corporate accounts and their employees, ensuring seamless adoption of Alan’s services and tools.
- • Conduct regular business reviews with clients, presenting data-driven consumption reports and insights to demonstrate value and inform strategic decisions.
- • Promote Alan’s positioning as a partner in preventive health to increase employee adoption and turn satisfied clients into brand ambassadors.
- • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on client needs and pain points, expanding the scope of Alan’s services within existing accounts.
- • Lead contract renegotiations to ensure clients receive optimal value while maintaining sustainable profitability for Alan.
- • Act as the primary voice of the customer to product and operations teams, driving product improvements and service enhancements based on real-world feedback.
- • Support sales acquisition efforts by promoting the Key Account Management program to prospects and collaborating closely with the Sales team.
- • Develop and optimize internal tools and resources—including narrative frameworks, QBR templates, renewal pricing models, and onboarding workflows—to enhance team efficiency and consistency.
- • Ensure alignment across the Key Account Management team to support Alan Spain’s broader business objectives and strategic priorities.
- • Proactively plan and forecast team requirements, including process improvements, resource allocation, and headcount needs, to scale operations effectively.
- • Lead recruitment efforts to build, grow, and retain a high-performing Key Account Management team in Spain.
- • Direct and execute the annual renewal campaign, ensuring timely and successful contract extensions with key clients.
- • Maintain fluency in Spanish and advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- • Leverage strong analytical skills to structure complex problems, extract insights from data, and present actionable recommendations to clients and leadership.
- • Demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills, consistently achieving win-win outcomes through transparency, empathy, and trust-based relationship building.
- • Cultivate influence by identifying and engaging key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
- • Work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining high standards of performance and accountability.
- • Continuously learn and deepen expertise in healthcare insurance dynamics, employee benefits trends, and Alan’s product offerings.
- • Foster a culture of active listening, empathy, and trust within client interactions and team leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 6 years of experience in a customer-facing role (Sales, Account Management, Key Account Management, or Pre-Sales) with frequent C-Level interactions
- • Proven experience managing or leading a Sales or Account Management team for 3+ years
- • Fluency in Spanish and advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- • Experience working with companies of more than 300 employees
- • Strong track record of over-performance in client retention, contract renewal, and revenue growth
- • Experience in insurance or employee benefits is a plus but not mandatory
