📋 Description

• Korean-Japanese Curriculum Designer (Contract) at Speak AI Inc., a leading AI-powered language learning company with over $150m in venture funding and a mission to reinvent language education through human-level AI tutors.
• Own the Korean-Japanese curriculum end-to-end, including planning, writing, production, launch, and iteration based on user feedback, QA, and peer review, while adopting AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Join a distributed, tight-knit global team across San Francisco, Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, and Ljubljana, working on a product that serves learners in over 40+ countries and 15+ languages, with strong product-market fit and rapid growth post-Series C.
• Develop pedagogically sound, culturally attuned, and engaging learning materials for Korean speakers learning Japanese, directly impacting millions of learners by improving access to effective language education through innovative, technology-integrated content.

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level Korean proficiency with strong cultural intuition for what resonates in the Korean market for Japanese learners
• Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese (both spoken and written)
• Experience in Japanese education content planning, development, or instructional design
• Ability to ship high-quality curriculum independently and make sound decisions with minimal oversight
• Based in Korea and willing to commit to 6 months full-time, with possibility of extension based on performance & business need
