  • • As an L&D Specialist at BJAK, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening employee engagement, fostering continuous learning, and cultivating a vibrant culture across the entire organization. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy position where you will be instrumental in designing and implementing programs that enhance connection, build capability, and drive performance. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all initiatives are practical, meticulously executed, and deeply aligned with BJAK's unique operational ethos and values. You will not just be a presenter or an event organizer; you will be a key driver of tangible cultural and developmental change.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire employee lifecycle, from welcoming new hires to reinforcing our core values in daily operations. You will be the architect and executor of programs that make BJAK a place where employees feel connected, empowered, and motivated to perform at their best. This role demands a proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities, maintain a keen eye for detail, and consistently deliver high-quality experiences.
  • • Key responsibilities include:
  • • Owning and meticulously managing the company-wide engagement and learning calendar. This encompasses a wide range of activities, including organizing and facilitating town halls, planning and executing festive events that celebrate our diverse workforce, coordinating engaging team activities designed to foster camaraderie, running comprehensive onboarding sessions for new hires, and spearheading impactful internal campaigns that reinforce our strategic objectives and cultural pillars.
  • • Taking full ownership of engagement programs from conception to completion. This involves detailed planning, seamless execution, and a relentless focus on ensuring strong employee participation, a smooth operational flow, and an overwhelmingly positive employee experience. You will be the go-to person for making these programs a resounding success.
  • • Coordinating a diverse array of learning programs that cater to both technical and soft skill development, as well as leadership training. This requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across various departments to identify needs and working effectively with external trainers and subject matter experts to deliver high-caliber content.
  • • Diligently maintaining training logistics, which includes precise scheduling of sessions, accurate attendance tracking, monitoring completion rates for all learning initiatives, and performing basic Return on Investment (ROI) or effectiveness measurements to gauge the impact of our learning investments.
  • • Leading and facilitating engaging onboarding culture sessions. These sessions are crucial for immersing new hires into BJAK’s core values, setting clear expectations regarding performance and behavior, and familiarizing them with our unique and effective ways of working.
  • • Actively partnering with the People Operations team and business leaders to strategically embed our company culture, foster a robust feedback mechanism, and promote a culture of recognition into the daily practices and routines of all employees.
  • • Consistently tracking engagement and learning data, proactively gathering employee feedback through various channels, and utilizing this information to drive continuous improvement in program quality, relevance, and overall impact. Your insights will be critical in shaping the future of L&D at BJAK.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in learning & development, employee engagement, culture building, or HR program management roles.
  • • Exceptional execution and coordination skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously without compromising on detail.
  • • Proficiency in managing calendars, trackers, spreadsheets, and familiarity with basic HR systems such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • • Strong, clear communication and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence diverse groups effectively.
  • • A pragmatic and practical mindset, with a focus on implementing solutions that demonstrably work in real-world scenarios rather than relying solely on theoretical approaches.
  • • High degree of ownership, proactive energy, and a strong willingness to take initiative and drive tasks to completion in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
