This remote position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with local sales representatives and directly with existing and new customers across a diverse range of sectors, including pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, electronics manufacturing, education, and research.
- • As a Lab Furniture Sales Specialist, you will be instrumental in outfitting laboratory spaces with a comprehensive array of laboratory furnishings. This is a proactive role that demands interaction with high-level decision-makers, as well as architects, corporate real estate brokers, and general contractors, requiring a strategic approach to sales and client engagement.
- • The Avantor Lab Furniture Sales team operates within a collaborative matrix structure, working seamlessly with general sales representatives, supply partners, operations teams, project managers, and customer service departments to deliver complete furniture solutions. Your contributions will be vital in managing projects from initial concept through to final installation, encompassing renovations, expansions, and tenant improvement projects.
- • You will be expected to act as a self-starter, demonstrating drive, sound judgment, and influence. Motivated by opportunity, you will effectively communicate ideas and take initiative with minimal direction in a fluid and dynamic environment.

This requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
- • Maintaining strong external partnerships with manufacturers and extended selling teams is essential for success. You will foster these relationships to ensure seamless collaboration and optimal product delivery.
